  • Historic tennis tournament returns to Northumberland Club for 119th year

    In summer 2014, guests, sponsors and tournament staff once again joined together to celebrate the 119th Northumberland Open Tennis Tournament, sponsored by Adderstone Foundation, at The Northumberland Club in Jesmond.

  • Charity donation improves children’s reading skills

    Adderstone Foundation recently raised £894 to buy specialist software that will help benefit pupil reading at West Jesmond Primary School in Newcastle upon Tyne.

    The funds were donated by Adderstone Foundation who matched donations made during one of the school’s fayres.

  • A Ponteland man has soaring ambitions for his charity after support from Adderstone Foundation

    Adderstone Foundation made it possible for 14-year-old Danny Duffy, who suffers from autism, to have a flight experience on his birthday that covered Newcastle and Tynemouth.

  • Foundation donation sends Visually Impaired Tennis Club to National Championships

    A donation from Adderstone Foundation has enabled a talented visually impaired tennis team to reach their dreams of competing in a national championship for the blind and visually impaired.

  • Adderstone Foundation sponsor Warrior Beach Assault

    In March 2014 Adderstone Foundation sponsored the Warrior Beach Assault, a 10k long gruelling assault course which took place on the beach and The Links at Whitley Bay.

    As charity sponsor for the event, Adderstone Foundation linked up with Norcare, a North East based charity that provides support to ex-military veterans that have come upon hard times on leaving the armed forces.
