  • Team Adderstone fundraise for Football Shirt Friday

    Football fans nationwide were encouraged to get involved with Football Shirt Friday on April 17th 2015. 

    The fundraising event is set up by The Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK. The charity's aim is to raise awareness of bowel cancer as well as funding research that could one day beat the disease altogether. 

  • Warrior Beach Assault 2015

    Adderstone Foundation sponsored the Warrior Beach Assault Challenge again in March 2015. Fitness fanatics braved a challenging 10k assault course which, like last year, took place at Whitely Bay.

  • Adderstone Foundation support White Ribbon Day

    Adderstone Foundation joined forces with Tyneside Women’s Health in November 2014 to support White Ribbon Day. The White Ribbon is the symbol of the international campaign to end violence against women, initiated by the United Nations in 1999.  

  • Local VI Tennis team achieve national success after donation from Adderstone Foundation

    The North East Visually Impaired Tennis Club (NEVITC) made a triumphant return from the inaugural National Visually Impaired Tennis Championships in October 2014, with the team boasting the ‘Player of the Tournament’ as well as a national champion. 

  • Adderstone team take the Great North Run challenge

    Jane Gillings and Emma Wimble complete The Great North Run and raise money for Lymphoma & Leukaemia Research and the British Heart Foundation.
